Is that terror or excitement???These guides were a little more laid back than the guide on the Upper Gauley. We got flipped twice and half of us got flushed out another time when the right side of the raft was high-sided up on a rock. So it was pretty fun and slightly scary.

Our guides asked us if we like to swim. Aaron thought they asked if we knew HOW to swim. So he said, "YES!" So...we swam a few times. Come to find out that our guides were planning on flipping us, because even the videographer was talking about it.

We've already been dumped twice at this point, so it's understandable that Aaron was holding on for dear life up front. Meanwhile, we pull some pretty sweet faces in some of these pictures.

Here are the pics from the Upper Gauley that we ran the 2nd day. This one is more difficult and considered some of the best rapids in the world...so we were told. It was awesome, and we can't wait to go again (hopefully next year).
