Teaching Belle a New Trick

We always make our dogs wait until we tell them they are allowed to eat. We make them sit while we pour the food into their bowls. Then we say "Okay, you can eat!" and they gobble it up. They can't WAIT for us to say those words. They drool a lot on the floor while they wait. So we made Belle do the same thing while she has been staying at our house. She is pretty good at it now. So we got some shots of the whole process.

DogSitting

Allan and Allison gave us the privelege of babysitting Belle while they were gone this past week. We got some cute shots of all the dogs hanging out.

Halloween

Last year for Halloween we took our dogs trick-or-treating with Joanna's sister's kids. We didn't do anything this year, but I thought I would post a pic...

Cone Head

This ain't much, but at least it's an update...
Gigi has a sore in her ear that she keeps scratching, and Suki won't stop licking. So it has been a constant irritation for her. She wakes us up at night with the scratching so we decided to get her a cone. Suki might get one soon too if she won't stop trying to lick Gigi. Then we will have a couple cone heads running around, bumping into everything. (especially the backs of your legs as you try and walk ANYWHERE..)

Gigi also brings her bone to Joanna to hold so that she can chew on it. She used to hold it with her paws but that't too hard for her right now.

Allan and I fixed the boat so we were able to go out on the water again. The Dogs love the lake!

They get really excited when we say we are going out to the lake. They sit back in the car and peer over the seats, they almost shake with excitement.
